The low-cost
airline, already the market leader at
Cologne/Bonn airport, is focusing on increasing
its network footprint across Southern and
Eastern Europe from its four bases across
Germany.
From its base at Cologne/Bonn Airport Germanwings
added more destinations: Burgas (Bulgaria); Sarajevo; Sofia;
Zadar (Croatia); Varna (Bulgaria); Alghero
(Sardinia); Kavala (Macedonia); and Bucharest
(Romania).
